Laudani & Romanelli

Laudani & Romanelli

Architects Marta Laudani and Marco Romanelli have collaborated since 1988 in their offices in Rome and Milan. They work in the fields of design (for Bosa, Dorelan, Driade, Fiam, Glas, Nodus, Oluce, and Salviati among others), interiors (their works have been published by leading international magazines and, in 2004, they participated in the Venice Architecture Biennale in the "Notizie dall'Interno”), and exhibit design (in 2002-2003 they had an anthology called "Gio Ponti: a World" at the Design Museum in London and at the Milan Triennale, and in 2007 "Bruno Munari" at Tokyo Shiodome Italia). In 2001, in Rome, on behalf of Fiat-Engineering, they designed the "Museum of Roman Civilisation” restoration project. For both designers their work has always been accompanied by an intense critical reflection on the themes of living and design. Marta Laudani taught "Interior Architecture" and "History of Contemporary Design" at the Sapienza University of Rome, Faculty of Architecture; Marco Romanelli was the editor of the magazines Domus and Abitare.
