A story of people, dreams and dedication
Diano Tura and Pietro Paolo Bergamaschi decided to leave the company they were working for to pursue a more ambitious project: to create top-quality mattresses. Thus, in a small garage in Forlì, the first Dorelan products were born, crafted with the taste and skill that have always distinguished Italian artisans.
Growth and Expansion
Dorelan internalized its production processes, consolidating its know-how and the quality of Made in Italy. This evolution allowed the company to enter with authority into the world of hotels and cruises, bringing the well-being of sleep also to an high-level hospitality. At the same time, it opened its first stores marking the beginning of the development of the Dorelan retail network.
Increasingly International
Dorelan entered the United States with the opening of its Miami branch and strengthened its European presence with the creation of Dorelan France, a new subsidiary based in Lyon. The expansion continued in Asia with the openings of Dorelan Hong Kong and Dorelan Taiwan, while its presence in the bedding sector was reinforced with the acquisition of Facondini. To completing the international picture, Dorelan Korea was established through the acquisition of the company’s historic distributor in Korea.
Looking to the Future
Today Dorelan is present all over the world with more than 230 stores and a widespread network of over 2,000 retailers: we are the largest bedding network in Italy. Every day, more than 400 people contribute their expertise and passion enabling us to produce over 2,000 items and spread the culture of good sleep to every corner of the world.
