Ilaria Marelli

As an architect and designer, in 2004 I opened the “Ilaria Marelli studio”, where I work on ideas that are both emotional and experimental at the same time, dealing with design from a 360° perspective: art direction, product design, strategy consulting, interior design and outfi tting. I regularly collaborate with numerous international companies to create products and collections, alternating my interest for serial production, with the design and development of unique pieces for international exhibitions. I deal with the design and outfi tting of showrooms and concept stores in the fi eld of fashion and design, and I have been in charge of an entire exhibition hall for Pitti Immagine since 2006. With a great interest in the social and cultural
aspects of design, I am a sponsor of Italy’s fi rst co-housing project, I collaborate on applied research topics with Poli.design, and I have been teaching Product/Service Design at the Polytechnic University of Milan since 2002. I was appointed as a member of the Italian Design Council in 2007, I received the MILANODONNA award in 2008, and was conferred the ‘’AlumniPolimi Award” for architecture in 2015.
